Fan-favourite and winner of Best New Musical, Bonnie & Clyde The Musical has announced initial casting for the production at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre and Birmingham Hippodrome.

Leading lady and Coronation Street and Strictly Come Dancing star, Catherine Tyldesley will make her musical theatre debut as Blanche Barrow at both venues. After wowing audiences in the West End and International Tour of Bat Out of Hell, Katie Tonkinson will play Bonnie Parker both in Birmingham and Wolverhampton.

Heathers and Newsies star, Alex James-Hatton, will play the role of Clyde Barrow at Wolverhampton Grand and Danny Hatchard will take on the role of Clyde at Birmingham Hippodrome.

Sam Ferriday, who has appeared in hit musicals such as Heathers, The Cher Show and Jersey Boys will play the role of Marvin “Buck” Barrow. R&B and Soul singer-songwriter Jaz Ellington, who has appeared on The Voice UK and Eurovision: You Decide, will play the role of The Preacher. Nate Landskroner of Waitress and Heathers will alternate the role of Clyde Barrow at midweek matinee performances.

Bonnie & Clyde The Musical shows at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre from Tuesday 5 - Saturday 9 March 2024 and Birmingham Hippodrome from Tuesday 3 - Saturday 7 September.
