As part of this year’s Birmingham Heritage Week celebrations, Cadbury World invites guests to discover the amazing history of Bournville village.

From September 8 – 15, visitors to Cadbury World will be able to enjoy a free of charge guided walking tour, led by a Cadbury World expert, available each day for visitors of the attraction, excluding weekends.

Discover the revolutionary thinking of John Cadbury and follow in his family’s footsteps as you travel around this historic village.

While on the walk, visitors will learn about Bournville’s fascinating past, with an exclusive sneak peek into Birmingham’s unique ‘Factory in a Garden’ and view examples of beautiful architecture, the stunning village green and the tree-lined streets that Bournville is now renowned for.

Before the heritage tour, guests can enjoy a self-guided experience of Cadbury World itself, where they will uncover a whole world of chocolate delights. Visitors can explore an assortment of chocolatey zones, discover the origins of the cocoa bean, learn how their favourite sweet treats are made, witness chocolatiers at work and even enjoy a warm pot of melted Cadbury Dairy Milk along the way.

To book your place on the complimentary Birmingham Heritage Week Cadbury World guided tour, simply purchase a standard entry ticket to Cadbury World for a date between 8-15 September, excluding weekends via the website here.
