Award-winning Japanese restaurant, Maneki Ramen, has introduced an exclusive opportunity to help shape the future of its new Birmingham restaurant, ahead of its opening in spring 2025.
From Friday 22 November, foodies and supporters of the award-winning restaurant will have the opportunity to generate funds for the launch of the restaurants second site, through the Crowdfunder platform.
Pledging funds to support Maneki Ramen Birmingham will unlock exclusive and unique rewards including a one-of-a-kind experience at one of Guy Ritchie’s Wild Kitchens. Guests will join world-renowned Australian chefs Shannon Bennett (Executive Chef at Melbourne’s Vue de Monde) and judge on MasterChef Australia) and George Calombaris (long-term judge on MasterChef Australia) as they prepare a feast inspired by foraged ingredients, alongside Maneki Ramen’s Head Chef Pete Dovaston. The menu will be cooked over open fire at Guy Ritchie’s stunning Wiltshire Estate.
For Maneki Ramen fans that want to be part of the journey for a lower cost, rewards are available from £30, including at-home cooking kits, advanced copies of the restaurant’s first recipe book and aprons and T-shirts, produced in collaboration with High Dive Apparel.
Additional experiences include a place at the table for intimate dinners in collaboration with guest chefs including Jamie May (The Butcher’s Tap, Marlow) and the team from the highly celebrated Matsudai Ramen (Cardiff).
Also available to pledge for is a wedding feast for 100 guests, featuring all the Maneki Ramen classic dishes, private dining experiences at Maneki Ramen and a Japanese cooking masterclass.
Maneki Ramen is part of the ART Hospitality group and has been serving up authentic Japanese fare in Worcester since 2020. Maneki Ramen Birmingham will open in a 2,000 square foot site in the Jewellery Quarter.
