On Wednesday 28 May, Orelle is hosting Kray Treadwell and the team from 670 Grams for a limited-edition dinner in the sky.

Orelle’s Executive Chef, Kiran Suvarna and Michelin Young Chef of the Year, Kray Treadwell have created a six-course tasting menu that combines their individual styles in an exclusive celebration of Spring.

Served alongside Orelle’s panoramic views from 24 floors above the city, the tasting menu showcases the very best local, seasonal produce. The menu features courses including a Duck Tartlet with duck à l’orange and foie gras and Courgette Flower with Sainte Maure de Touraine and olives.

Main courses include a choice of Coquille St. Jacques with scallop, fèves and Champagne sauce, or Dunwood Farm Beef with Massaman curry sauce, lime-spiced potato, braised ox cheek, milk loaf, and potato butter.

Dessert will be a Tropical Vacherin with mango, passion fruit, BBQ pineapple, Crème legre and coconut sorbet, followed by Petit Fours.

Vegetarian and vegan options of the menu are also available upon request.

Kray Treadwell is the chef behind 670 Grams, an intimate 10-seat restaurant in Digbeth which pushes the boundaries with bold flavours and inventive takes on the tasting menu. Named after the birth weight of his daughter, the restaurant reflects Kray’s style: personal, fearless, and completely original.

A Great British Menu finalist and alum of Michelin-starred kitchens including Purnell’s and The Man Behind the Curtain, Kray has applied his cooking style to the collaboration with Orelle’s Executive Chef Kiran Survana.

The Orelle x 670 Chef Collaboration Dinner is taking place on Wednesday 28th May, priced at £90pp. Sittings are available between 6:00 and 8:30pm. For more information and bookings, please visit: orelle.co.uk
