Popeyes UK has announced that it will be bringing its bold Louisiana flavours to the West Midlands with six new locations opening across the region this year, including its first ever UK airport restaurant and its first rail location outside of London.

The six confirmed locations are:
- Birmingham Airport (BHX)
- Birmingham New Street Station (BHM)
- The Fort Shopping Park, Birmingham
- Tyseley, Birmingham
- Perry Barr, Birmingham
- Wednesbury Drive-Thru, Sandwell

This expansion will create over 500 jobs and follows the huge success of the first Popeyes Birmingham opening in 2024; which saw queues forming overnight to get a taste of the iconic chicken sandwich.

With both dine-in and takeaway options available across all six new restaurants, customers will soon be able to enjoy Popeyes® fan-favourites like the iconic Chicken Sandwich, Hot Wings, Tenders, and Signature Chicken Wraps in Classic, Spicy, and BBQ.

All of Popeyes® chicken is halal certified and marinated for 12 hours in its signature bold Louisiana seasoning, then hand-breaded and battered for its signature ‘Shatter Crunch’ – complemented by tasty extras like biscuits and Cajun gravy.
