Laros, a popular authentic Greek eatery that is already a favourite in the North West, is now available in Birmingham as takeaway only.

Already established in both Liverpool and Manchester, Laros is known for its authentic Greek street food dishes created by owner Nikolaos Fylladitakis.

Originally from Crete, the entrepreneur is keen to showcase authentic Greek cuisine that is of the highest quality, with the majority of Laros’ ingredients sourced and imported directly from Greece. Other ingredients that cannot come from Greece, are locally sourced using trusted independents.

Offering its full authentic Greek food menu, the people of Birmingham will be able to tuck into Laros’ renowned chicken and honey or pork and tzatiziki gyros, as well as the juicy pork and chicken souvlaki with lamb.

Laros’ ‘better than halloumi’ Talagani cheese fries, available as a side, in a box meal or tucked into a gyros wrap will delight guests as well as a full Laros Green vegan menu that includes plant-based gyros options such as courgette fritters, tomato cakes and falafel, and oyster mushrooms make excellent meat-free alternatives.

Laros Green is made up of carefully created vegan dishes that don’t contain any artificial or processed ingredients; everything is made from natural, high quality produce, echoing Laros’ main menu that contains only the highest quality ingredients where they source as much meat and dairy from Greece itself, before turning to trusted, independent suppliers for everything else.

Laros Green’s vegan ingredients have been expertly handled in-house to occasionally emulate flavours including cheese and meat with everything made fresh on-site daily.

To pair with a delicious main, or to be enjoyed as a lighter option, Laros also has its deliciously fresh and authentic salads on the menu including a classic Greek salad, a Politiki cabbage-based salad and Cretan Dakos salad with tomatoes and olives.

For dessert, Laros is instructing its divine Loukoumades to Birmingham - Loukoumades are little sweet Greek donut balls served traditionally with honey syrup and chopped walnuts but Laros has put its own twist on the classic with the addition of lavender to its honey syrup. Other variations include white chocolate and hazelnut or milk chocolate, pistachio and vegan Loukoumades with agave syrup.

Open everyday, Laros will be available to order via Deliveroo and UberEats initially, and will also soon be available on Just Eat.

Laros will be available to order Monday-Thursday from 12pm-11pm, Friday-Saturday 12pm-12am and Sunday 12pm-10.30pm. For more information, visit: larosgreek.co.uk
