South Birmingham-located pub the Hare & Hounds has a history stretching back almost two hundred years. Among its more recent (well, sort of) claims to fame is the little-known fact that it was the venue in which legendary Birmingham band UB4O performed their first ever gig, over three decades ago in 1979. The pub’s two upstairs venues host live music and club nights most evenings, with jazz, indie, funk, reggae, hip-hop, soul and house all featuring.
