Determined to make 2022 'The Summer of Fun', Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival is back following two years of cancellations.

Starting on Thursday 14 July at The Old Post office, multi-award winning Josh Pugh will bring his brand new work-in-progress show Danger, Danger, High Loltage show to the town. Host of R4Extra’s Comedy Club and critically acclaimed podcast Spit or Swallow. "One to watch” BBC new talent Lou Conran will also perform, as will Eddy Brimson.

Running from 14-17 July, Tudor Owen, Rob Rouse, Justin Moorhouse and Andrew Ryan are also amongst the comedians booked for this year's event.

Bringing the festival to a close is Shrewsbury's biggest comedy gig, the star studded Gala Show at Theatre Severn. Taking place on Sunday 17 July, this year's line-up includes Paul Sinha, Seann Walsh, Gary Delaney, Flo & Joan, Steve Royle and MC Dan Nightingale.
