A new experience led dining venue is embracing the magic of Christmas this December by hosting a number of free festive feel-good events, guaranteed to entertain the whole family.

Stoke-On-Trent based HighTales will be welcoming children and their families on Sunday 8 and Sunday 15 December to get involved in some merry mischief alongside the HighTales elves and a special guest from Whoville. These tailored events will feature breakfast or lunch with the elves, photo opportunities, Christmas crafts for little hands and face painting too. Guests simply need to prebook their free space via the website.

For movie lovers, guests can secure their spot to watch a Christmas classic, Home Alone, on the outdoor big screen on Saturday 14 December at 7pm. Mulled wine, hot chocolate and popcorn will be available. Live music nights will also be held every Friday and Sunday in December and on Thursday 19 December guests will be treated to a special appearance from local carol singers.

Simon Doney, general manager at High Tales, said: “Christmas is all about having fun and getting together with loved ones. Whether it’s a game of digital darts with pals, enjoying live music every Friday and Saturday or bringing your little ones to our mischievous elf events, we can guarantee we’ll keep you entertained this festive season.

“We’ll also satisfy those winter cravings too as our festive menu is now also live. From Breaded Brie Bites to Roast Turkey Pizza with all the trimmings, there really is something for everyone to get stuck into this Christmas.”

In October, the former Hungry Horse venue underwent a multimillion-pound transformation to create experience-led 'zones' from cinemas to soft play and a pop-up food truck serving up seasonal dishes.
