Get ready for a toe-tapping day of dance on the Severn Valley Railway, with Morris Dancing groups to performing at stations along the line.

The following Morris dancing sides will appear:

  • Nancy Butterfly Morris Dancers (NBMD), North West Morris style with clogs.
  • Shrewsbury Morris (SM), performing traditional and contemporary dances in the traditional style.
  • Ironmen and Severn Gilders (ISG), the Severn Gilders are a women’s team who dance North West Morris, and the Ironmen a men’s team dancing Welsh Border.
  • Pennyroyal Garland Dancers (PGD), folk dancers based in north-west Leicestershire, currently performing two main styles of dance; garland and clog.
  • Castle Clog (CC), based in Stourbridge, the group perform step clog dancing, a traditional form of dance. It is like tap dancing. The dance is done in wooden soled clogs to traditional music.

  • Bridgnorth – 9.30am, 11.00am, 12.15pm, 1.45pm, 3.45pm
