A programme of popular contemporary and light classical music.

GBRT, a highly regarded musical charity from Market Harborough, is bringing over 50 performers from their Community and Flute Choirs to Stratford for a spectacular joint concert with the Fosseway Chamber Orchestra.

The exciting programme will feature contemporary music from musicals, film and popular classics including the March from Scipio, The Capriole Suite, Cats, James Bond, The Chronicle of Narnia and singers Sting, Billy Joel, and Aerosmith plus much more. 

Tickets cost £10 or £5 for under 18s and can be purchased online.


Great Bowden Recital Trust is a registered music charity (Reg: 1118140) based in Market Harborough, whose aim is music development, appreciation and participation for all.
Founded in 2004, the Trust began by organising three classical music recitals per year and using the profits to fund a grant programme for local young musicians who could not afford lessons.  
The Trust now runs five community choirs and ensembles with over 150 members - Adult and Youth Choirs, Flute Choir, Carnival Drums and an Orchestra. The Trust also:
Funds hundreds of instrumental and vocal lessons each year for local young people who struggle to finance them.
Runs an annual Junior X Factor talent competition for young singers, instrumentalists, groups and composers, which is free to enter and free to watch. 
Organises regular gigs and concerts for all choirs and ensembles including supporting regional festivals and carnivals.
Organises European concert tours, which have to date included tours to France, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and Germany.
Organises Community Concerts to provide a stage and an audience for young musicians who have not previously performed in public.
