Sally Cookson directs this heart-warming production.

Life is tricky for 12-year-old Sonny. Struggling with a stammer in a world of confusing consonants, vicious vowels and sometimes super-slick small talk, he’s certainly not living his best life. Indeed, he’s so socially compromised that his one and only friend is Captain Chatter, a comic-book hero of his own creation.

Things certainly need to change - but will his headteacher casting him in a school production of Hamlet prove to be a welcome turning point or a nightmare of unimaginable proportions?...

Olivier Award-winning director Sally Cookson helms this heartwarming and well-reviewed Bristol Old Vic production.
