A nature themed trail in National Children’s Gardening Week!

Join a family-friendly trail all about bees and bugs this May half-term holiday. See what you can discover as you hunt both inside and outside the Bishop’s Palace and County Museum during National Children’s Gardening Week!

Trail runs from Saturday 24 May to Sunday 1 June.

Make sure to explore the wonderful nature and wildlife in the Castle’s grounds and gardens on a walk around the moat. Keep an eye out for the nearly 300-year-old mulberry trees on the Orchard Terrace!

If you’re visiting on bank holiday Monday (26th May), why not also decorate your own gardening apron and enjoy nature-themed activities with What’s in YOUR Garden?

Or, from Tuesday 27 to Thursday 29 May, you could make a mini bee hotel after following the trail…

Whatever you choose, be ready for an adventure!

Whole site admission tickets required. Trail 50p (Pay on the door) or included with Make a Mini Bee Hotel or What’s in Your Garden? crafts for £3.50.
