One of the Midlands’ best known and most admired non-professional orchestras, the Birmingham Phil here take a journey through Scandinavian soundscapes.
They kickstart proceedings with Nielsen’s Maskarade Overture and Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite, rounding off the evening with a ‘double blast’ of Sibelius, performing his final two symphonies.
