The two day festival of trains through the ages will feature both guest and home locomotives operating a busy timetable between Kidderminster and Hampton Loade.

Ride behind as many engines as you can in historic carriages, visit The Engine House at Highley to break your day, and sample the finest real-ales in the pubs. You’ll be able to see modern rail vehicles and visit Inspiration, the Railway 200 Exhibition Train. Perfect for those young and old, experience the Severn Valley at its steamiest!

Attractions include:

  • Intensive timetable with steam and diesel trains from 9am to 7pm.
  • Ride in beautifully restored and historic carriages, dating from the 1910s, 1920s, 1940s and 1950s, including the opportunity to travel in reserved seats in LNER 7960 behind 60163 Tornado (additional charge applies).
  • World-famous steam locomotive LNER 60163 Tornado hauling our unique LNER Teak carriages, dating back to 1922.
  • HydroFLEX, the UK’s first hydrogen-ready passenger train, developed and tested by Porterbrook in Warwickshire, on display at Kidderminster.
  • Branchline trains of the 1900s with steam-powered Autotrain hauled by GWR 1450, and our resident DMU railcar.
  • GWR 7802 Bradley Manor hauling our unique collection of Great Western Railway carriages.
  • Selection of heritage diesel locomotives paired with our MK1 carriages.
  • 19th century narrow gauge locomotives on display at The Engine House.
