Interactive theatre workshop from the co-founder of Stan's Cafe
In this workshop James will help the group devise a short piece of theatre that emphasises ensemble working and bringing in the audience as creative collaborators.
It will be a fun and friendly session with serious intent. James Yarker co-founded Stan’s Cafe in Birmingham in 1991 shortly after graduating from Lancaster University. Since then, he has directed all the company’s major productions, co-wrote the Bloomsbury Methuen book Devising Theatre With Stan’s Cafe and is currently an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham
