The 2023 motorsport season starts in Birmingham!

The return of Autosport International, which heads to NEC Birmingham on 12-15 January 2023, is set up to wow audiences regardless of how long they have been around the racing scene. Tickets are available here.

There really is something for the whole family to enjoy and get involved with. From grassroots to Formula 1, there is plenty to see and do at the show. Fans can get up close and personal with the cars of legends from the past, present and future - and even meet some of them, too.

The Live Action Arena brings the most action-packed and hair-raising spectacle. Within the walls of the NEC, witness famous drivers and professional stunt performers thrill the crowd. See vehicles from the world of rally, tin tops, motocross and grassroots motorsport host a non-stop spectacle of awe-inspiring stunts and races.

Autosport International’s Motorsport Memories campaign, in partnership with Sir Jackie Stewart OBE’s charity Race Against Dementia. Ten 'favourite moments’ from motorsport’s history have been chosen by the three-time F1 World Champion, and special prints will be displayed inside a gallery at the show and entered into a raffle to raise money for the charity. Sir Jackie will also attend the show to view the prints and speak about the charity’s work. Money raised will help fund research into dementia treatment and prevention.

The show is also set to unveil the winners of this year’s Top Tuned Car. The campaign has asked owners with interesting, modified and exotic cars to submit their entries and, after a public vote, a selection of those cars will be on display at the show. Expect to see jaw-dropping modifications and flamboyant paintwork light up the NEC.

For the younger audience seeking a path into motorsport, there’s a fantastic opportunity to witness the F1 in Schools national finals which are taking place over the Autosport International weekend. Speak to those with experience of being involved in the competition and learn what it takes to design a winning car.

The finals will take place right at the heart of Autosport International. See the next generation of engineers, designers and entrepreneurs battle it out over a 20-metre track to take the F1 in Schools UK crown. Surrounding the track will be each team’s ‘pit displays’, where attendees can get an up-close view of the work that the teams put into the design and manufacture of their scale-model race cars. The UK National Finals include successful teams from 10 regional finals.
