Birmingham restaurant Eight has achieved one of the highest industry recognitions of 3AA Rosettes.
Placing them in the top 10% of restaurants UK wide, 3AA Rosettes are awarded to "outstanding restaurants that achieve standards that demand recognition well beyond their local area”.
Owner Sam Morgan said: "We are of course particularly proud of what the team have achieved since opening in the challenging year of 2020. The restaurant was only open 3 weeks of 2020 due to the pandemic and 6 months of 2021, therefore to develop 8 into a restaurant considered in the top 10% is something short of astonishing."
The AA Rosette award, first awarded in 1956, was the first nationwide scheme for assessing the quality of food served by restaurants and hotels. Their team of inspectors have an unrivalled wealth of experience in assessing quality throughout the UK and Rosettes are awarded annually on a rising scale based on a meal visit by one or more of their inspectors.
