A horror-themed cocktail bar and restaurant is opening in Birmingham this autumn.

Merlin's, located at Martineau Place on Corporation Street, will boast an immersive experience across two floors (complete with decorations, animatronics, ambient lighting and more), and offer a range of creepy cocktails, carbon negative coffee, ice cold beers and a selection of food options. 

Commenting on the opening, Merlin's said: "Here at Merlin's, we are far from your average café, restaurant, or bar found in every town or city - we are something far more terrifying.

"We fuse our love for fantasy and horror to deliver a uniquely spine-chilling experience for all ages.

"Descend into our ground floor café and restaurant, where we serve eerie delicacies from our very own Hell's Kitchen (suitable for all ages).

"Venture upstairs to our first-floor bar and cocktail lounge, where the atmosphere becomes truly haunting (over 18s only after 6 pm)."
