Makers Central has been 'uniting creativity' since 2018; bringing together makers, creators, hobbyists and artists from all over the world to celebrate a passion for all things creative. The show makes its return to the NEC Birmingham from 13-14 May.

Having earned a reputation as a show like no other, Makers Central explores the weird and wonderful and this year is set to be bigger and better. The show offers a chance for budding and established makers to learn, share skills and get creative.

The show brings together thousands of makers from all over the world to unite and share their passion in making.  With many of the YouTube stars and social media influencers known to be a huge part of the makers community in attendance at the show.  Headlining the event is Britain’s very own inventor and maker Colin Furze.  Colin’s YouTube channel is the home of crazy inventions, brilliant world records and constant disregard to health and safety. Coming to the show with some of his creations, make sure you head to his stand to meet him, take a selfie and see some of his mad vehicles, epic projects and crazy inventions. You won’t want to miss it!

Many of the influencers will be demoing at the show, visitors will be spoilt for choice with live demos and talks across two stages taking place all weekend.  Whether your passion is for woodturning, resin art, electronics, metal clay or anything in between Makers Central has a line-up of unrivalled demonstrations.

Popular workshops will also be returning including pyrography, drone making, engraving and more.  All workshops offer a fantastic hands-on experience for visitors to try something new or perfect an existing skill.
