An Indo-Persian boutique hotel, fine dining restaurant and cocktail bar, paying homage to Baluchi heritage and culture, has opened in Birmingham.

From the team behind Brindleyplace favourite, Qavali, Baloci has taken over The Edgbaston, which closed its doors in February last year.

At Baloci, guests can embark on a gastronomic experience along the culinary highways of Indo-Persian Silk Road. The restaurant boasts two rooms, the Blue Room, where guests can unwind and relax and the Red Room: the main dining area, featuring a blend of contemporary and traditional architecture with an electric red vibe.

The food menu reflects the diverse food culture of Turkey, Iran, Balochistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, with dishes such as butter chicken and slow cooked beef shank on offer. Afternoon tea and a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails are also available.

The hotel boasts six uniquely designed rooms, each with a distinctive design and architectural features, focusing on a different element of history and offering an enriching experience.
