Easter Weekend’s about to hit a high note. Malvern Rocks is rolling out a three-day, four-venue music event from Fri 18 - Sun 20 April, and it’s more than just a good time - it’s a fundraiser to power up the main festival in August, making sure performers and crew get paid for their craft.

From Good Friday to Easter Sunday, the Easter Surprise takes over The Red Lion in Cradley, Malvern Lounge, The Three Horseshoes, and The Morgan. The lineup’s stacked: Friday kicks off with Molly Gone Mad and The Hill’s Angels who are followed  by Hennesea, Follow the Dolphin, The Ray Mytton Band, Paurosi and Funky Junky Monkeys.

Saturday brings A Bloke Called Maddy, The Never Never, Krescendo and Ritchie Porter and Debra Susan; and Sunday wraps with Kate Baylis, Laurel Canyon, After the Rain and Miss Pearl and the Rough Diamonds.

Four venues, killer acts, one weekend of proper live music. Full details and times are at the website, in the News section and in the Gig Guide.

Entry’s free - as always - but donations will be welcomed to raise funds for the August fest. Grab t-shirts, wristbands, and badges on-site, or throw in a donation in-person or online.  Every bit keeps the main event alive, supporting the artists and crew.

That main event? Malvern Rocks, back Friday 1 - Sunday 3 August, with multiple stages and venues showcasing some amazing contemporary acts.

Musicians of all genres - rock, blues, funk, jazz, folk, whatever! - can apply now to play. Visit the website and submit by Sunday 11 May.

The mission’s clear: quality live music for Malvern and beyond, no barriers, no fluff.

Easter’s your first shot at 2025 - come out, support, and feel the music!
