Wolverhampton Art Gallery’s recent £6.7million extension has transformed the original Victorian gallery by providing a modern entrance and additional exhibition space.

The ground floor of the distinctive two-storey building has become the permanent home for the Art Gallery's acclaimed Pop Art Collection, which is the largest of its kind outside London.

The upper floor gallery, meanwhile, will be used to show temporary exhibitions, drawn from both this country and abroad.

The extension provides a renovated café, a spacious new passenger and goods lift, and a modern reception area.

A Collections Resource Centre allows visitors to benefit from an increase in access to the diverse collections housed at the gallery.

The Gallery is open Monday - Saturday, 10.30am-4.30pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (closed bank holidays). The café open Monday - Saturday 11am-4/15pm and Sunday 11am - 3.30pm. Free Entry.
